Our aim is to help you unwind, relax and enjoy your Beauty time.
Time to unwind
We welcome your early arrival so you have time to unwind. We have refreshments available, magazines, a library of books, quiet areas, and in the good weather, our private spa garden; we even have lovely knitted throws to keep you cosy if you become chilly outside – just ask.
The area beyond the snug in reception leads you to a quiet area and secluded treatment rooms. Here we operate a quiet zone policy. Could we ask that you respect that other clients are in treatment rooms and will be aiming to unwind and snuggle down, please when using the shower rooms/cloakrooms or returning from your own treatments to reception – can we ask that noise levels are kept to a minimum.
Our private garden
The split-decked area in our private Zen garden offers a place to sit and reflect – some of our therapy rooms overlook the back of the cottage. Again we ask that you use this area as a quiet space.
Please switch off your mobile phone to prevent disturbing other clients and distracting the therapist. If you need to be contacted urgently during your visit, we are happy for you to give the salon main line number and our reception team will ensure you receive any messages.
You will be asked to fill in a confidential client form on your first visit, and periodically, we will ask you to fill in a new form, but please remember to keep us updated with any changes to your health/medication or special requirements. This will enable us to keep our records up to date. Thank you.
All client details are kept secure and are protected by data protection legislation.
Help us help you
Although we do our best to anticipate your needs, please let your therapist know if there is any way that they can improve your treatment or comfort, for example, deeper or lighter massages pressure, an extra towel, different music, lower lighting etc…
Please drink plenty of water as this assists all beauty treatments and holistic therapies. Water is available in the snug beyond reception and in all treatment rooms. Please ask your therapist if required.
